Itronics President Dr. John Whitney to Speak at Prestigious Resource Recovery Conference

RENO, Nevada, September 18, 2012 -- Itronics Inc. (OTC:ITRO) is pleased to announce that Dr. John Whitney, its founder and Chairman, will speak at the prestigious resource recovery and waste management conference sponsored by the Envirobiz Group (www.envirobiz.com) at the Marriott Coronado Island, San Diego, CA., Sept. 18-21.

The conference annually works to stimulate creative thinking on strategies for waste management and resource recovery, facilitates the exchange of information between key executives in these sectors and allows executives to renew or establish new business relationships.

Dr. Whitney will speak about Value-Added Recycling being performed by Itronics. Included will be a short summary of non-photo chemical processes that are being developed. These include the previously announced Itromet FeLix and Itromet SuLix processes which recover iron and sulfur. Dr. Whitney will also tell the group about Itronics’ plan to begin developing silver/gold mine leaching chemicals that would use the processed photochemistry as an ingredient.
