Itronics
President Dr. Whitney to Present at World's Top Silver
Conference
RENO, Nev., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Itronics Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ITRO; Frankfurt and
Berlin Stock Exchanges: ITG) said today that its
President, Dr. John Whitney, will speak on "Silver and
Fertilizer from Photo Wastes" on September 22 at the
World's Premiere Silver Investment Conference, The
Silver Summit at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
The conference annually brings together fund managers,
hedge fund principals and other investors to listen to
presentations from the nation's top silver companies and
other individuals involved in the silver industry.
Northern Idaho is home to the richest and most prolific
silver mines in the world.
Itronics extracts silver from photo wastes and turns the
resulting demetallized liquid into award-winning,
environmentally beneficial fertilizers sold under the
name GOLD'n GRO. The Company also sells the Silver
Nevada Miner bar which was created to commemorate the
long and eventful silver mining history of Nevada and is
an excellent souvenir of the "Silver State." The bars
are 2 3/8 inches by 1 3/8 inches and are 1/4 inch thick.
Each contains exactly 5 ounces of pure silver. The bars
are "proof quality" and include a year-stamp
authenticating the limited edition. The 99.9 percent
pure, 5 troy ounce silver bar is the only one of its
kind being manufactured and marketed in the United
States today and is a unique and beautiful collectible.
"We are delighted with the opportunity to tell the
Itronics story to this prestigious group of investors,
since silver has played and continues to have such a key
role in our history," said Dr. Whitney. He will discuss
changes in photographic materials because of the current
"digital revolution" and the need for continued recovery
of wastes produced by the photographic, medical and
other industrial users to protect the environment and to
recycle for reuse.
