Attached to the front of the water motor is a dual-sided meter. Utilizing a two-part system: water motor and chemical pump. The HN55 can be used for a wide variety of applications from fertilizer injection for the horticulture industry to injection of nutrients and pharmaceuticals for animal health.   More Information...     So, which GOLD'n GRO®* liquid fertilizer should I use? For lawns GOLD'n GRO®* 20-1-7+3%S is used at a rate of 1 quart per 1,000 square feet of lawn to be fertilized. If the lawn area has trees, then a rate of 1.25 quart per 1,000 square feet should be used. GOLD'n GRO®* 15-1-8 + 4%S will also work well at the same rates, especially for trees and shrubs, due to a smaller nitrogen content and a higher micronutrient trace element content. - Apply monthly or less frequently as needed. Shrubs and landscape plants and flowers should be fertilized with 0.25 to 0.5 quart of GOLD'n GRO®* 20-1-7+3%S or GOLD'n GRO®* 15-1-8+4%S per 1000 square feet to be fertilized. - Apply monthly or less frequently as needed. GOLD'n GRO®* 8-8-8+4%S or GOLD'n GRO®* 6-3-9+4%S will provide best results for gardens and flowers. GOLD'n GRO®* 8-8-8+4%S will also provide acceptable results for lawns, trees, shrubs, and landscape plants. However, for long term use it would be better to use GOLD'n GRO®* 15-1-8 + 4%S and reduce the rate as suggested above in order to adjust the amount of nitrogen and at the same time avoid phosphate accumulation in the soil that may occur with long term use of GOLD'n GRO®* 8-8-8+4%S. - Apply monthly or less frequently as needed. In the heat of the summer, GOLD'n GRO®* 10-0-0 + 4%Fe can be used to maintain the healthy green lawn while at the same time producing low growth. This will be especially helpful in July and August. - Use 1 pint to 1 quart per month.  Apply in June, July, and August as needed.
